Das hier ist ein Mod, der mir richtig gut gefällt. Ich glaube, es ist nicht derselbe wie oben im Post verlinkt. Hier ist der Name "A hostile planet". Der Mod beeinflusst die Aggressivität der Aliens.

BESCHREIBUNG

Be aware that this is an Alpha Release. The core works (have been testing for a day or two now), but weird things might happen from time to time. Feedback and bug reports are appreciated.



There seems to be a rare bug that disables the unit controls in the lower left corner of the screen when starting a new game. Don't think there's anything in this mod that can cause this, logging doesn't show anything and I've seen reports of this on other mods, so I ASSUME it's a general issue that sometimes comes up with mods.



Anyway. So, you're bored with friendly, passive aliens? Want them to really defend their territory? Want them to hunt down anything that comes too close? Well, this mod may be for you. Be aware that it's meant for higher difficulties, AI might have MASSIVE problems to progress (or even survive) on lower settings. Even on Apollo, AI might just get crushed if they spawn between 3 nests - and so may you. That's just what happens when you land on a hostile planet. This mod can make the game extremely hard if you spawn near a nest (or if you're reckless) - don't blame me for any frustration you might run into. 8)



So, what EXACTLY does this mod do?



Well, at its core it changes the default stance that aliens take against human intruders to "I'll hunt you down and eat you alive" (aka "very hostile") . Easy as that. They also get extra vision-range, so they have an easier time finding things to mangle. Taking over their parts of the planet, as well as defending against them if you're unlucky enough to spawn next to a nest of them is much harder now. Especially early on. On top of that, Aliens will now destroy improvements and try to eat your workers.



On the bright side, spawning of Siege Worms has been delayed until turn 75 (was 20), for balance issues. But from that point on they can and WILL attack your cities and outpost just like any other alien that comes into range. So be ready. (AI doesn't always listen to this advice, so expect Capitals to fall at that point.) BE AWARE that Siege Worms generally spawn in rather random positions in the fog and are NOT limited to nests, so they can show up where you expect them the least and ruin your day if you expand your empire too offensively.



Oh and just a little side note: Someone lost the blueprint for the Ultrasonic Fence.The building and the quest associated with it are GONE, FUAHAHA. Don't even think about hiding behind it.



Die Aliens befinden sich von Beginn an auf Stufe "Rot". Der Ultraschallzaun ist im Tech-Netz nach Außen verschoben worden. Ich habe eine möglichst große Karte mit üppiger Vegetation auf einem Riesenkontinent gewählt. Und als Spieltempo Marathon, das war die richtige Entscheidung. Zunächst wählte ich dazu noch "Tobende Aliens", aber das ist eher was für den zweiten Versuch. Jedenfalls habe ich durch den Mod jetzt das versprochene Gefühl, auf einem gefährlichen Planeten gelandet zu sein.



Achtung: Beim Neuladen waren die Einheiten beim Durchschalten nicht mehr korrekt angezeigt, man sieht immer die Voreinheit mit verbrauchten Bewegungspunkten. Schlecht, wenn man einem Bautrupp oder einem Konvoi etwas befehlen möchte!
